August 27, 2012

            The Miner County Board of Commissioners met in special session Wednesday, August 27, 2012.  Members present Roger Wentland, Pat Maroney, Don Bowman, Voni Durant and Heath Thompson.   Absent:  none.  Chairman Thompson called the meeting order.  Motion by Wentland, seconded by Durant and carried approve the agenda.           

            Motion by Bowman seconded by Wentland and carried to approve payment to Lamb Motor Co., $22,202.00 for a 2012 Ford F250 Super Duty pickup for the highway department. 

            Motion by Durant and seconded by Maroney to adopt the following resolution.

RESOLUTION 12-18

            WHEREAS, the Miner County Board of Commissioners at their August 21st meeting adopted a credit card user policy and

            WHEREAS, the board has instructed the auditor to make application for a credit card to be made available for county purchases and

            WHEREAS, the application shall be made through Farmers State Bank of Carthage and

            WHEREAS, the application requires an authorized officer to be appointed by the governing board

            THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Miner County Commission to appoint the Auditor, Susan Connor as the authorized officer.

            Voting aye:  Maroney, Bowman, Durant, Wentland and Thompson.  Voting nay:  none.  Resolution adopted this 27th day of August, 2012.
