The Miner County Board of Commissioners met in special session April 16, 2013, in the Miner County Courthouse. Members present: Roger Wentland, Don Bowman, Pat Maroney. Absent: Voni Durant. Chairman Wentland called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Motion by Maroney, seconded by Bowman and carried to approve the agenda.
Motion by Maroney, seconded by Bowman and carried to enter into executive session (9:10) to discuss the letters of interest received for appointment to the board of commissioners (SDCL 1-25-2 (1)). Returned to regular session at 9:30.
Motion by Maroney and seconded by Bowman that to continue with the appointment process the commission would request that Alex Protsch and Garrett Gassman be present at the April 29th meeting to participate in the public interview process. Voting aye: Maroney, Bowman and Wentland. Voting nay: none. Motion approved.
