and their duties

AUDITOR - Elections, voter registration, commissioners' meeting agenda, commissioner minutes, keeper of records, prepares county budget, calculates property tax levies, apportions taxes to proper entities, and prepares the county's annual report. Miner County Ambulance billings are also handled through this office.
TREASURER - Property tax collection, vehicle licensing & registration, Game Fish & Parks licensing.
REGISTER OF DEEDS - Recording of legal documents and transfer of title to property, issuance of marriage licenses, birth & death certificates, records county poor, mechanic, federal tax, & hospital liens
DIRECTOR OF EQUALIZATION - Assessor of real estate property, serves as Zoning Administrator, issues building permits.
SHERIFF - Provides law enforcement, dispatching services.
