NOTICE OF HEARING
ADOPTION OF PROVISIONAL BUDGET FOR MINER COUNTY, SOUTH DAKOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Miner County will meet in the Courthouse at Howard, South Dakota, on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at 9:45 a.m. for the purpose of considering the Provisional Budget for the year 2018 and the various items, schedules, amounts, and appropriations set forth therein and as many days thereafter as is deemed necessary until the final adoption of the budget on the 26th day of September, 2017. At such time any interested person may appear either in person or by a representative and will be given an opportunity for a full and complete discussion of all purposes, objectives, items, schedules, appropriations, estimates, amounts, and matters set forth and contained in the Provisional Budget. Persons needing assistance to attend the hearing should contact the County Auditor at 605-772-4671 at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Miner County Ambulance Board will open sealed bids on October 2, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Room in the Miner County Courthouse, Howard, South Dakota for a NEW or Demonstrator 2017 or 2018 Type III Ambulance. Consideration of the bids by the Miner County Board of Commissioners shall take place on October 3, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Room in the Miner County Courthouse.
Specifications may be obtained at the Miner County Dispatch Office, PO Box 366, Howard, SD 57349, phone 605-772-4501. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashiers check or bank draft payable to Miner County in the amount of 5% of the amount bid or a 10% bid bond, issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota payable to Miner County.
The board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and to accept the best responsible bid.
Bidders are to use bid blanks furnished. Bids are to be filed with the County Auditor on or before the specified hour set for the opening and shall be clearly marked “Sealed Bid – Type III Ambulance.”
